Spider Web Pattern

Spider Web Pattern

This caning pattern is known as the "spider web".   This photo is of my very first attempt at this beautiful, lacy pattern; and there's a nice little short story that goes with the chair I'd be happy to share if you ask!  This pattern is absolutely gorgeous (my humble opinion), but I do not recommend it for seats; it seems a little too delicate or fragile for that kind of wear and tear, but would be fine for a back panel.

Binder Cane

Binder Cane

If it was originally done with cane, I can most likely re-do it for you. This little cutie is woven with wide binder cane; price was based on how much time I estimated it would take me to complete.
Snowflake Pattern

Snowflake Pattern

This snowflake pattern is even more beautiful than the spider web!  Also, takes a bit more weaving and time.  Something like this would have to be priced out on the high end around $5 a hole.  By the way, this chair is the same chair I used to show how to count holes on my strand cane page, I refinished it myself, caned it during some idle time, and was able to sell it a few months later.
